Thomas Walsh

  • Experience: “I have always been civic minded, volunteering as a child with my mother at Laguna Honda Hospital and St. Anthony’s Dining Room. Then as an adult I volunteered with Big Brothers/Big Sisters and The American Red Cross, and now as a parent I have volunteered with my family at Project Open Hand.”
  • Public Service: “I have always strived to be of service to my community and to my fellows.”

  • Experience: “For 36 years I have worked in the public sector. I recently retired after 34 years of service in a public school district where I worked as a teacher, program coordinator, and labor negotiator.”
  • Budget: “I support the responsible fiscal approach that Council has consistently applied.”
  • Priorities: “This approach has enabled Colma to provide public safety, housing for veterans and seniors, facilities and infrastructure improvements, as well as recreational activities and child care services for our citizens.”
