Last year, a New York Times Magazine cover story asked whether America’s “libertarian moment” had finally arrived. The answer is yes, according to Cato Institute scholar David Boaz, author of “The Libertarian Mind.” Despite the fact that only 2 to 4 percent of Americans identify as Libertarian, Boaz believes that far more embrace the movement’s ideals, such as limited government and personal freedom.
