The Warriors beat the Pelicans, 106-99 on Saturday to take a 1-0 lead in the first round of the NBA playoffs. Stephen Curry scored 34 points, Andrew Bogut had 14 rebounds, and Draymond Green added 12 boards and 7 assists.

The Golden State Warriors head into the NBA playoffs Saturday after a regular season that saw them rack up a 67-15 record -- including just two losses at home. They're favored to beat their first-round opponents, the New Orleans Pelicans. But they're facing huge expectations from fans who have waited 40 years for a championship.

Jacob Greenberg, longtime Warriors fan and creator of The Diss -- a blog featuring "angsty NBA analysis" -- talked to KQED's Tara Siler about the team's strengths and the challenges ahead. Greenberg says anything less than an appearance in the league finals would be "a crushing disappointment."
