BART
The foremost San Francisco public transportation covering most cities in the Bay Area is BART. Their expansive network of trains connects the Peninsula, Oakland, Berkeley, Fremont, Walnut Creek and other East Bay cities. The closest station is 16th St. & Mission BART. From there take the 22(Fillmore) East on 16th. Get off at 16th & Bryant, walk two blocks South on Bryant to Mariposa. Plan your trip by reviewing routes and schedules on the official BART website.

Caltrain
The Caltrain provides general train service across San Francisco, Peninsula and San Jose. From the 4th & Townsend train station, walk to 5th & Harrison St., take the 27(Bryant). Stops at Mariposa & Bryant.

Muni
The Muni Metro is a light rail/streetcar hybrid system lines, consisting of 7 lines that serve San Francisco. Take the 33(Stanyan), 22(Fillmore), or 55(16th Street) to 16th & Bryant or Mariposa & Portrero. Or take 27(Bryant) to Mariposa & Bryant. Check current public transit schedules with the SFMTA.

COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS

Guests are encouraged to wear masks inside the building.
To provide the safest possible experience for our guests, performers, volunteers and staff, KQED recommends that ticket holders continue to wear masks inside the building and when in close proximity to other guests.

An event may cancel, postpone, or shift to streaming-only offerings.
We will remain diligent amid the pandemic’s changing circumstances. If an onstage guest or staff member becomes sick or if local public health directives escalate restriction, we will notify you of any changes to our planned events and offer to refund or transfer your tickets.

We will continue to closely review public health guidelines and update our safety protocol as necessary. Staying informed is our best prospect for remaining safe as we move forward with navigating through the pandemic. ACCESSIBILITY

Building Access
The KQED headquarters is accessible to people using wheelchairs or who have limited mobility. Elevators provide access to all public areas of the facility.

Hearing Assistance
Assistive-listening devices are available on a first-come, first-served basis for amplified events in The Commons event space. Please see event staff upon arrival to procure a set free of charge.

Service Animals
Service animals are welcome at KQED headquarters. A service animal is defined as any dog that is individually trained to work for a person with a physical, sensory, intellectual, or other mental disability.

KQED LIVE EVENTS

Tickets and Registration
All ticket sales are final. There are no ticket refunds or credits, except in the case of a canceled event. If a ticket holder cannot attend an event and wishes to exchange or transfer their ticket, they may process this request up to 24 hours prior to the event’s scheduled start time.

Attending With Youth
Children are always welcome to attend KQED Live events, but we do ask that parents or guardians be mindful of other guests during programming that is intended for adults. We encourage adults accompanying children to take full advantage of our spacious lobby areas for breaks when needed to avoid disturbing other guests.

Children 2 and under do not require a ticket if sharing a seat with an adult for the entire program.
