Did you know you could explore the flora of the Andes, Chile, and New Zealand all without leaving the Bay Area?! At the San Francisco Golden Gate Botanical Garden, one of three main gardens in Golden Gate Park, you can do just that. (And you can STILL spot lots of native California plants and animals – like coyotes!)
Our host, Isaiah, and contestants Zoya and Christian, are led on a breathtaking tour by GGBG’s guide, Jenn. But it’s not all views and nature walks – Christian and Zoya are racing against the clock through the redwood forest to find all of their scavenger hunt items for the first part of their competition. This nail-biter will have you on the edge of your seat to see who wins.
