Soul Box Supper Club: A Multi-Course Dinner Party
Soul Box Supper Club is an immersive dinner experience that tells the story of the connection of food with the political landscape as election season approaches.
Celebrity chef Tirzah Love crafts a soul-filled five-course meal in partnership with local farms and food artisans. Beyond a meal, the club will host a dialogue led by Taylor Nanz of Solid Grounds, exploring the power of voting and community engagement. This special KQED Supper Club also features a cocktail hour with live music by August Lee Stevens and DJ Darling Cool, live art by Jermaine Dante Art and a portrait popup studio to archive the memories by Rough Thesis.
Join us to savor this moment and envision a future where every voice matters and every community thrives. Come hungry, leave fulfilled!
Join Soul Box’s Taylor Nanz and artist Tahirah Rasheed a few days later August 18 for a Town Hall at the Oakland Museum of California in partnership with Care-Van followed by refreshments, giveaways and self-affirming postcard-writing.
