Did you know that the Bay Area has a deeply rooted history in electronic music? Join us as we delve deep into the captivating past and present of electronic music and synthesizers in the Bay.

Renowned synth pioneer Suzanne Ciani leads a journey through the evolution of sound with a special performance and conversation, alongside other technologists in the scene such as John M. Chowning, American composer, musician, and professor best known for his work at Stanford University, the founding of Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics (CCRMA) in 1975. From the analog beginnings to the digital innovation, discover how the Bay Area has shaped and been shaped by the innovative world of synthesizers and sonic creativity. 

Mission Synths also exhibits various synthesizers for attendees to check out and demo.
