Huge invasive swamp rodents, oh my!

Nutria were thought to be eradicated from California but they’re back, enjoying the state’s rivers and wetlands.

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has set up a hotline to call if you see a nutria, a rodent that looks similar to a rat and can grow up to 20 pounds.

If it’s any consolation, apparently they taste more like rabbit or squirrel than rat.
