The funeral for Stephon Clark was held Thursday as unrest continues on the streets of Sacramento.

The Rev. Al Sharpton eulogized Clark at a packed funeral service at Bayside of South Sacramento church.

With “#StephonClark” trending on Twitter, cousin Suzette Clark said the family wants the 22-year-old father of two to be remembered as “more than just a hashtag.”

Stephon Clark was killed in a hail of police bullets the night of March 18 after police — responding to complaints of someone breaking car windows — shot him in his grandmother’s backyard.

Officers said they believed Clark was armed but after the shooting they found only a cellphone.
