Fresh off his keynote at Apple's World Wide Developers Conference, Steve Jobs followed up with an appearance last night before the Cupertino City Council, announcing plans for what the Cupertino Courier calls "a spaceshiplike circular building" that will hold 12,000 workers. AllThingsD has dubbed it "iSpaceship."
Lo and behold, Jobs' entire presentation is available on YouTube, where you can get a pretty good sense of the design that Jobs calls "pretty cool."
At one point, Councilmember Kris Wang pressed Jobs on providing free Wi-Fi to Cupertino residents, which he did not seem too keen on. But for the most part the council seemed to greet the proposal like technophiles beholding specs for the latest iPhone.
A press conference by Cupertino Mayor Gilbert Wong responding to the proposal is scheduled for 11 a.m.
