Public service announcement: I just got an email saying that The Killing Season 2 is up on Netflix Instant. If you haven't started watching it yet, NOW IS THE TIME TO START. Why? Because it isn't a show you binge on one season of. It's a show you binge on TWO seasons of. Leave work. You have a commitment. A commitment to the best crime show on TV. Why? It's a complicated story of what actually happens when a person gets murdered. Not a CSI-style procedural but more of a Wire-esque exploration of the actual effects of a crime on the detectives, the community, the family. Also: there's drama. Also: a really cute detective (see above). I don't need to explain this to you again! Go watch the show!
