Which one of these two would you rather meet in the forest? TikTok users have been asking for weeks. (The Print Collector/Heritage Images via Getty Images)

The trend has been ramping up on TikTok for over a month: women casually ask the men in their lives if they’d rather leave their daughters in the woods with a man or a bear, then film the results.

The “Man or Bear?” question is brilliant in its simplicity — we know nothing about the bear or the man. Watching men’s reactions to the question has, in the last few weeks, become something of a litmus test.

But the absolute winner, hands down — the reason we can all stop asking each other the “Man or Bear?” question now — is one young woman named Alana, who turned all the way up to God for answers. Turns out it’s true. The angriest bear on Earth is still better than a reckless man. We know because the Bible tells us so.

Alana’s original video was taken down, so please enjoy this fact-checking follow-up video by Treasure McClain. Excellent work, ladies.
