Hip-hop legend André 3000 is bringing his flute back to the Bay Area: The former Outkast rapper’s just-announced fall tour will hit Oakland’s Fox Theater on Oct. 5.
It’s Andre 3000’s second national tour for New Blue Sun, the new-agey solo jazz album he released last fall. In February, he played a series of vibey, sold-out shows in Berkeley and San Francisco.
This time, André 3000 and his band of Los Angeles jazz musicians will make just one Bay Area stop.
Here’s how to score seats: Tickets for the all-ages show go on sale to the general public on Friday, Jun. 28, at 10 a.m., with reserved seating starting at $59.50 plus fees. A presale for the show the Fox Theater will start on Thursday, Jun. 27, at 10 a.m., which can be unlocked using the presale code drexl. There will also be an artist presale starting on Wednesday, Jun. 26, at 10 a.m.
