Final: The rout is complete, with the Warriors trouncing -- trouncing! -- the Cavaliers 110-77 and taking a 2-0 lead in the NBA Finals.

One historical note: Golden State set a record for the biggest combined margin of victory in the first two games of an NBA final. Their 48-point margin eclipsed the 42 points recorded by the 1950 Rochester Royals and 1961 Boston Celtics.

Update: At the end of the third quarter, the Warriors had built an 82-62 lead on the Cavaliers. The two biggest factors: The Dubs' Draymond Green playing out of his mind (28 points) and the Cavs' superstar, LeBron James, having a horrible, mistake-prone quarter.

The Warriors then opened the fourth quarter with a 7-0 run for an 89-62 lead.

Tom Tolbert, Warriors radio color guy sums it up: "The Cavs are unraveling. Like a ball of twine. And the Warriors are pulling the string."

Original post: Tom Tolbert, former Golden State Warriors forward and current broadcaster, put it this way as his former team went on an extended run in the second quarter of Game 2:

"They're slicin' and dicin' right now -- just ripping them apart," Tolbert said as the Warriors outscored the Cleveland Cavaliers 30-11 over a 10-minute period. At one point, the Dubs led the Cavs 52-39.

But the Warriors let the Cavaliers off the hook late in the quarter, firing several errant three-point attempt and allowing Cleveland to close to 52-44 at the half. Warriors' forward Draymond Green led all scorers in the first half with 15 points. Steph Curry added 12 and Klay Thompson marked 8 -- equaling their total for all of Game 1. LeBron James was the only Cavalier in double figures, with 14 points.
