On Saturday, the college football game between University of California, Berkeley and Stanford drew a crowd to California Memorial Stadium in Berkeley.
The Big Game, as it’s referred to by fans of the rival schools, was postponed two weeks ago due to heavy smoke from the Camp Fire in Butte County. It was the first time the game has been postponed in 55 years.
Stanford beat Cal for the ninth straight time. The final score was 23-13.
Michelle Melen and Todd Defilippi took a bus to Berkeley from Mountain View for the Big Game. Defilippi says he was a Stanford “fan of the season” in 2012.
