California congressman Duncan Hunter's wife agreed to testify against her husband.
The pair are charged with improperly spending over $250,000 in campaign funds, including a cross-country flight for their pet rabbit.
Rep. Hunter and his wife, Margaret, are alleged to have illegally funded a lavish lifestyle with campaign funds.
Hunter, who served as a Marine in Iraq and Afghanistan, has also recently been in the news for admitting he posed for photos with dead enemy combatants and said he probably killed "hundreds of civilians."
The congressman and his wife are alleged to have spent campaign funds on everything from Italian vacations to tequila shots.
The Hunter rabbit did not respond to repeated requests for comment.
