There's an empty seat at Uncle Vito's, and one less leopard print cowboy hat gracing the streets of San Francisco now. Vivian Brown, half of the iconic twin sisters of San Francisco, died Wednesday night.

Brown, 85, died in her sleep at an assisted care facility in San Francisco, according to the Chronicle. She suffered from Alzheimer's disease, her twin, Marian Brown, told the Chronicle in August.

The twins moved to San Francisco 40 years ago, and gained notoriety by walking around town in prim matching outfits. They've appeared in 25 television commercials for Apple, AT&T, The Chronicle, Reebok, IBM, Virgin Atlantic and Dell Computer, among other companies.
