Have you ever seen a skate rink inside a church? Founded in 2013, The Church of 8 Wheels, which is located in San Francisco’s Fillmore District, is an abandoned 19th-century church transformed into a disco skate paradise.
Host Alesha Bell leads the crew and contestants Jayla and Jessie to this angelic anomaly to not only learn a little bit about San Francisco Skating culture from the Godfather of Skating, David Miles Jr., but also how to skate. It’s fast, it’s fun, it’s groovy, it’s the Field Trip Game!
